PRESS RELEASE PRINTS 4 UKRAINE

Like many people within the Australian Creative Community (we a team of art curators from Meadowbank TAFE} have been appalled by the heartbreaking coverage and indiscriminate brutality of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This devastating unprovoked war now past a yearlong has torn apart the lives, hearts, and souls of Ukrainian citizens, scattering their families and children to the four corners of the world.
In an endeavour to raise funds and awareness, we have reached out to our creative community and are, as always impressed and in awe of the generosity of over 50 of Australian leading printmakers, along with other friends and colleagues from within our community who are wanting to address this urgent need to show support. Whilst also raising funds our aim is to address the plight of the ‘Children of Ukraine’ who inevitably will inherit whatever remains from this catastrophe.
100% of funds raised will be donated directly to the Ukraine charity: Voices of Children https://voices.org.ua/
Quote from Voices webpage : We are helping to evacuate families with children, seeking housing for them, providing them with food and clothing. Please support us so that more children and their families suffering from war receive psychological help and can find shelter.
